Berikut adalah tips selengkapnya untuk berkendara di jalan tol agar tetap aman dan nyaman, bagian kedua.
Saat Memasuki Jalan Tol:
1. Masuklah dengan Aman
– Ketika memasuki tol, pastikan Anda sudah siap untuk berakselerasi dan bergabung dengan arus kendaraan yang melaju cepat.
2. Gunakan Jalur yang Tepat
– Jalur kiri untuk kecepatan normal, jalur kanan untuk mendahului. Jangan terus-menerus menggunakan jalur kanan.
3. Patuhi Batas Kecepatan
– Jangan melaju di bawah batas minimum atau di atas batas maksimum kecepatan yang diperbolehkan.
4. Jaga Jarak Aman
– Jaga jarak minimal 3 detik dengan kendaraan di depan untuk mengantisipasi pengereman mendadak.
5. Gunakan Lampu Sein
– Selalu nyalakan lampu sein sebelum berpindah jalur atau mendahului.
6. Perhatikan Blind Spot
– Ketika hendak berpindah jalur, periksa blind spot dengan memeriksa spion samping dan spion tengah.
7. Hindari Menggunakan Ponsel
– Jika perlu menggunakan ponsel, gunakan hands-free atau berhenti di rest area.
8. Fokus pada Jalan
– Hindari gangguan, seperti makan atau minum saat mengemudi, untuk menjaga konsentrasi penuh.
9. Waspadai Cuaca
– Saat hujan atau kondisi berasap/kabut, kurangi kecepatan dan nyalakan lampu kendaraan.
10. Hindari Berkendara di Jalur Darurat
– Jalur darurat hanya digunakan untuk keadaan darurat. Jangan gunakan jalur ini untuk mendahului.
11. Jangan Terlalu Lama di Jalur Tengah
– Jika Anda tidak mendahului kendaraan lain, pindahlah kembali ke jalur kiri.
12. Kurangi Kecepatan di Tikungan
– Kendalikan kecepatan di area tikungan atau jalan menurun agar tetap aman.
13. Jangan Memotong Kendaraan Lain Secara Mendadak
– Hindari pindah jalur secara mendadak yang bisa menyebabkan kecelakaan.
14. Gunakan Klakson dan Lampu dengan Bijak
– Jangan sering-sering menggunakan klakson atau lampu jauh, kecuali dalam situasi mendesak.
15. Matikan Lampu Jauh di Malam Hari
– Jangan menyalakan lampu jauh jika ada kendaraan lain di depan Anda untuk menghindari menyilaukan pengemudi lain.
Dengan mematuhi tips-tips di atas, perjalanan di jalan tol akan lebih aman, nyaman, dan terhindar dari risiko kecelakaan atau masalah teknis.
